Wow, these Friday posts seem to come around faster and faster!

 we made it to the long weekend. survived the first week back to school

i'm ready to curl up with a book and not move for awhile

on the 3rd day of school

 the boys got ready early, so they rode bikes

i ran behind

enjoying the early morning sunrise

then i spent an hour on the spin bike

rode over 20 miles

burned 400 calories

OUCH!

happy long weekend!!

tonight is friday night high school football

and i have a date with my sewing machine :)

today... is a laundry kind of day.

giving this clock my mom gave us a bright and colorful face lift. i love pops of red in the house. spray paint is so gratifying.
... signing the boys up for their first team sport experience. t-ball!
i am hoping this will be a sport they both enjoy. their daddy says only until they are old enough to start lacrosse.
and later today when the boys get home from school i'll resume building lego men with them at the kitchen table. and enjoy listening to them reveal more and more about what they are learning.

love these wristlet clutches! i'm making 34 of them.
they are so sweet with the little monogram initial, and the perfect size.

salads. the garden is producing huge zuchinni & squash, cucumbers, bell peppers, banana peppers and roma tomato. yippee!

we just about finished making new covers for these chairs on our patio.
i'll show a before and after when we get them all complete.
pretty simple DIY project.

quiet...
the boys are at Nana's this week. it's so quiet. i'm taking advantage of the time to sew from sun up to sun down. and catch up on what's on the DVR. friday night lights, deadliest catch.

hope everyone had a good 4th of July. we had such a good time with family in town... more on that another day.
