the boys were so cooperative and into our little photo shoot
 it was early morning with the best light
 i could have taken hundreds more pics
 of course after 5-7 they were ready to just "explore now"

both of them have light, sensitive eyes
  can't stand to be looking towards the sun for more than a sec

i love all the outtakes

this is so them
but not the right spot or angle
thankfully they were willing to relocate for another try

as well as this one - so them

we got our "money" shot, as we called it
for our christmas card

and i think they boys were pleasantly surprised how fun posing for mom can be

and i want to cry now because they are so handsome

field of blue {almost 6 year old photos}

my favorite photographer elle met us at this great field of bluebonnets in south austin. excited to go back before they are all gone.
it's rare to find a field that is public, or a great patch that isn't on the side of the highway. this place is perfect.

i'm absolutely silly for stripe clothes right now. their shirts were perfect.
miss elle was so patient and funny, helping the boys have a good time out there.
i can't wait to see the beautiful images she took!
then a little fun shirt change... super super heros

the girls are really good. aggressive to go after the ball.
i think half the boys have never played.

this one tolerates the camera, most of the time.
i'm so glad.

i love pictures of him... especially ones with his messy chocolate milk face.

we went and watched adam and some buddies race NasKart's a few miles from our house last night. it was pretty fun. adam is #99. hook 'em!

the boy's got to wave flags. and had fun running around the infield area.
