biospy was NO FUN this morning. i survived.
just-to-be-sure procedures are the pits.
but i'm thankful for the gift of preventative wellness.
i helped judge the science fair at school today.

the rain makes us all happy, especially the garden.

i just happened to see the boys class in the computer lab while i was in the library today.
such cuties!

the bread can make or break the sandwich for me.

love this axe for women spray. smells so fresh and clean.

teacher appreciation week {kindergarten}

we have been so blessed this first year of school to have excellent teachers in our community public school. kindergarten has been great! all of our kids have learned so much, flourished, blossomed and grown. i think they are all ready for the 1st grade.

only 17 days left of this school year :)

miss cappadona is the homeroom teacher and uckert their spanish teacher.  we are going to miss them next year! they've been a big part of our lives for the past 9 months.

to show our appreciation this week a few of us parents chipped in and baked a lot of cookies to share with teachers today. all the kinder teachers, coaches, library, art, computer and even a fruit bag for the principal.
we will miss them, but never forget them! and i'm pretty sure our little guys  left a thumb print or two behind for these sweet ladies.

these little 6 year old boys are super energetic, great readers, love legos, transformers, bey blades, bike riding, scooter riding, coloring, swimming, video games, power rangers. all boy!
we have a great group!!

Bowling Birthday Party {#6}

happy #6 birthday to our little boys!

cooper and corbin
had a bowling party for 20 of their closest friends this past Sunday.
i made them each a bowling pin cake. it's tradition, ya know? cakes tasted great!
it was a great miracle they made it intact to the bowling alley.
we had delicious Rosie's pizza and pink lemonade.
bowling alley makes for a fantastic party spot!
we loved celebrating our boys with so many of our friends.

the happy gardens

adam has a very green thumb. he loves to work in the garden. i like to watch the gardens grow and reap the benefit of the fresh produce. but make no mistake, i'm not the gardener of the family. the boys are growing some sort of bean. they planted them at school.
both plants are growing very well. might have two more guys in our family with green thumbs. we have three raised beds in the backyard that adam built this time last year. unfortuntaely last years summer drought and heat was too much to grow anything! this year the weather seems much more moderate thus far, and the plants are taking off very nicely.

InstaFriday .... on Monday

standing in line at the grocery store on a sunday afternoon... the scenery was nice :)
have you ever seen blue orchid's? i haven't. these were beautiful.
we have a very full butterfly house now. 12 painted ladies, and one HUGE monarch.
daddy helping corb get suited up for saturday's soccer game.
adam made this delicious dinner friday night. chili rellenos, homemade refried beans, spanish rice and guacamole. it was so so good!
especially yummy since this has been what most our dinners have looked like all week.
practice packing for Africa is NOT going very well. i don't pack light at all.
i think BLT's are one of my favorite meals ever. can't wait for those garden fresh maters.
carried our own seat to church today.
founder's day in dripping was lots of fun. celebrating God with other churches in the community.

100 days until the summer Olympics in London! i can't wait to watch. :)

don't you love the US Olympic team clothing by Ralph Lauren. So classy and americana! Go team USA!!

fun swimming playdate last week. had to make a collage out of photos to say goodbye to picnik. i'm gonna miss that free photo editing software. :(

"uncle" sent the boys some new caterpillars a week or so ago for their butterfly garden. watching them weave their coccoon and transform into beautiful "flutterbyes" is so cool! we just moved them to their garden a few days ago. butterflies very soon! thanks uncle
